Fine Portraiture

Who We Are

Richard Rossi

Owner / Photographer

Hi, I’m Richard Rossi, thanks for visiting my site. I have been creating beautiful, fine art photographs for over 40 years.   Classically trained in the visual arts, I am able to artistically blend traditional photographic skills with the newest, most amazing and creative technologies available. The results are stunning! You and your family will treasure my portraits for generations to come.

My passion for seeing the beauty in things and sharing that beauty with others underscores the foundation of my work. I believe that with all the opportunities around to grab a snapshot today, people are forgetting that the benefit of true photography, is that it is art. The images that I create go well beyond the snap of my shutter, putting them on a CD to be viewed on computer screens or smart phones.

My process involves you. Learning who you are and how you want to be seen is very important. It is the inspiration of what becomes your fine art portrait. The rest is what I’m trained to do. I shape the light to create the mood that defines your beauty and style. I pose you to exploit your best qualities and finally, I expertly hand craft and edit all the final images, whether it’s a large oil on canvas wall hanging or a portfolio box of your finest prints.

What I produce for you will last generations and become treasured family heirlooms. That is what I will pass on to you.

When considering a professional portrait session and you recognize the importance of heirloom quality portraiture, please give me a call.

Christopher Consolo

Lighting and Studio Manager

I bring the better part of 30 years experience, designing, building and lighting  special event venues in and around the greater Los Angeles area.  I honed my craft assisting behind the scenes working lights and audio for weekly live stage performances, and have built my talent over the years.

The main thing I learned, no matter how elaborate a set is, if the lighting isn’t right, it just won’t look good! I know we don’t look good if you don’t, so I make every effort to do my part, to make you look great!
